Chubarai horse, photo and video of which you will find in this article - this is perhaps one of the most unusual and at the same time the rarest among many colors. This suit today can be found only in a few breeds. However, it is known from ancient times and has a lot of options. What kind? We learn about this together.

Suit review

Chubarai suit, along with the pinto, belongs to the complex spotted colors, which have a great variety. This is a rare and very original color. There is an assumption that it is known since the most ancient times and originates from Central Asia. It was there, according to many experts, that the oldest center of cultural horse breeding was formed. Chubar horses can often be seen in Chinese paintings.

Features

So, as you already understood, the chubara suit is one of the most difficult, since two background colors are involved in its formation. The main one, often with an admixture of white hair, colors the horse’s entire body (bay, black, gray, red, etc.). The background color forms on a largely varied small oval speck.

All spots are different in size depending on the thread of wool. For example, on the rump, they are larger than on the shoulders, neck and sides. In general, their value can vary from the size of a coin to a large human fist. As for features, there can be a lot of spots when the horse is literally covered with horses, and, conversely, very few - only two or a few.

If the main color of a Chubar horse is light (most often white), then small pink specks can be seen. This is due to the fact that the skin is devoid of pigment. Also, these horses have striped hooves and very unusual eyes. Their iris is smaller in size, so there are always squirrels in the corners of the eyes, as in the photo.

Spread

Chubar horses are always different from other stripes and look unusual and even fabulous on their background. However, this kind of coloring is quite rare in our lands. It is found only among the aboriginal breeds of Central Asia. For example, Mongolian, Altai and Kazakh horses often have such a suit. At the same time, the Mongolian even have a separate species of the purebred color, Issyk-Kul.

Also American American appaloosa, Knabstrup, horses, noriken, falabella, some Spanish breeds and the English Chubar pony have such a suit. Rarely Chubar born mustangs or representatives of other wild horses.

How does it manifest itself?

The final version of Chubar is not immediately apparent, but is formed until about 3-5 years of the animal. So, for example, a foal can be born with one pattern, which can drastically change in the process of growth. Still remains a certain riddle how this suit is betrayed by inheritance. It is known that the Leopard gene is dominant, but the manifestation of bastardiness will depend on the number of these genes in the genotype. The more alleys of Leopard, the more spots will be on the main color.

Varieties

Among the Pig Suit there are six main types. All of them are more concerned with the horses of Western Europe and America (for example, Appaloosa). In this case, the spots may be dark on a light background, and vice versa.

  • Leopard - small dark spots on the main light color (white).
  • Black - an admixture of white hair on the croup and back of the back with old spots or without. Primary color can be any, except gray.
  • Marble or tiger - the presence of dark streaks on a light base color. Most divorces are traced on the nose, on the knees and back of the horses.
  • "In snowflakes" or "in flakes" - small and frequent white specks on a mostly dark background.
  • “In hoarfrost” is a type of cheprak, when a mixture of white hair or specks is present only on the top of the croup.
  • Trout - small spots and a large admixture of white hair throughout the body.

Chubaray - not appaloosa

Today, many ignorant people call the “chubaru suit” in one word “appaloosa”. But this is only an inaccurate translation from a foreign language and is a mistake. The appaloosa is a breed of American horses that is spotted. In English, the word "appaloosa" is translated as chubar horse. But it is not connected with the color, namely with the breed. Look like these racers offer to look at the photo.

Where are spotted horses used?

Since Chubara suit is very unusual and original, such horses are often used for shows. But still it is spotted racers that can often be seen at crew competitions. Moreover, today it has become a kind of fashion, and the judges even appreciate how harmoniously the animals are combined in a harness. Competently selected ammunition can additionally decorate horses, and such a crew will be out of competition. In more detail all variety of coloring look at a photo below.
