As for the young, mash for chickens are the basis of their diet. After all, the chicken can not swallow whole grains. It is better for an adult bird to give mash on the first morning feed. In the evening it is better to prefer a cereal mixture or feed.
However, it is important to remember that wet food should not constitute more than 65% in the poultry diet. It is necessary to cook mash for chickens only once, as it deteriorates quickly. Cooking mash correctly
How to make a mash for layers? There are many recipes for it, and each owner makes their own amendments to them. This food is convenient because it can also include residues from homemade meals: moistened bread, cereals, cottage cheese, peeling potatoes, vegetables from the garden, fruits from the garden.
