It is also necessary to control the fouling of the udder with wool, otherwise the dirt gets into the milk from it.

Before taking the udder, and especially the nipples, cleaned, they can be wiped with a cloth dipped in warm iodine solution, then wiped to dryness. Be sure to wash your hands and only then milk the animal.

After washing their hands, they are also wiped dry with a towel. Milking is always carried out in clean clothes, it is advisable to wear mittens and apron. Milking process

After the massage, you can start milking the goat, but how do you do it the most correctly? Milking is best sitting on a low stool. The goat can be fixed, but in principle, if the animal already knows you, it will stand still. If there are a lot of goats, there are special fixatives on the farms - the feeding trough is located in front, and there is access to the udder to the rear to milk while the animal eats.

Milking can be manual and hardware. The hardware is simpler, but if you have one goat, then the purchase of such a device will not be entirely rational. Therefore, we will talk about manual milking. The first rule - do not pull the nipples, but only squeeze them well, slightly lowering downwards.

If you hurt a goat, it can kick, or even jump at all. Milk is delivered in a clean container, it is best to start a plastic or iron bucket, or take a large jar. Milking should be at one time every day, so your pets will get used to the schedule and will stand quietly in the process. Goat after lambing

The first week after lambing will be the most troublesome: in order to divide the uterus, you will have to come to her for milk 5 times a day and give it all to the babies. A week later, the milking should be reduced to three times, and the babies should be fed four times (divide the milk yield by 4). Kozlyat should be placed in a separate pen from the uterus, because in a hurry while eating, they often injure the udder with horns, and they gossip the goat constantly. They are usually fed by turns at approximately the same time. The process is, of course, troublesome, but in just a month you will be able to effectively breed a goat.

After the kids are a month old, the milk for feeding them can be diluted with warm boiled water, gradually introducing hay and premixes, minerals additives into the diet. The number of milkings to this period should be up to two times - in the morning and in the evening. So you go on the previous schedule.
