A little later, there were still blue rabbits. All members of this breed are well accustomed to the conditions of detention and in homestead and in farms.

Breeding characteristics

You can send a rabbit to the first mating at the age of 4 months, but at the same time females should have a normal body weight - up to 2.5 kg. On mating, the female, like in other breeds, should be admitted into the cage of the male, and not vice versa. The best time for mating in winter is from 12 to 15 o'clock, and in summer - in the morning or in the evening. We can not allow the female to gain weight, as this may adversely affect her sexual function. In the process of carrying babies and during lactation, care must be taken to ensure that the rabbit has a reinforced diet.

Rabbit Care

In the usual cultivation of rabbits it is better to take away from the mother 45 days after their birth. But if the breeding of rabbits is carried out with the purpose of broiler breeding, the young growth is with the female until the moment of slaughter - up to 70-75 days. In some cases, broiler rabbits can weigh about 2 kg at 60 days of age. True, this effect can be achieved only if the female is distinguished by impressive milkiness. As feed, use of cereal-bean grasses, grain, feed.

In winter, you need to take care of the quality of feeding. The menu should include granulated foods that contain protein. Habitual mash can be diluted with boiled potatoes and bone meal.
